Sérgio Calisto (Portugal)

Sérgio Calisto, is a cello teacher and musician from Porto, graduated in music education from Aveiro University. After finishing his classical music studies, he started to learn the nyckelharpa and playing folk music in several ensembles such as MU and Mandrágora. At the International Days of the Nyckelharpa he had the opportunity to work with Ditte Andersson, Magnus Holmström, Marco Ambrosini and Didier François. After attending a Soundpainting course with Walter Thompson he has been also studying this live composing sign language, applying it in teaching and performance.
