The Conservatorio "Maderna–Lettimi" in Cesena (FC, Italy) offers a single course (certificate of performance) in viola d’amore a chiavi / nyckelharpa under the direction of Prof. Marco Ambrosini which provides for the acquisition of 24 credits CFA and of the Certificate of Performance.

The course is structured as follows:

  • Executive practice: 27 individual lessons (18 CFA) - Prof. Marco Ambrosini
  • Ensemble practice: 15 hours of group lessons (5 CFA) - Prof. Marco Ambrosini
  • Ensemble Music Workshop: 8 collective hours (1 CFA) - Prof. Marco Ambrosini and prof. Michele

Pasotti (Department of Early Music – Conservatorio Maderna of Cesena).

The course, held by Prof. Marco Ambrosini, internationally renowned musician and expert, takes place at
and on behalf of the B. Maderna Conservatory of Cesena.In collaboration with the Scuola di Musica
Popolare di Forlimpopoli, regulated by a specific convention, and following an agreement with the Music
and Arts University of Vienna and the Academy Burg Fürsteneck (as coordinator of the European
Nyckelharpa Training) it will be possible to carry out part of the lessons also at the offices of the associated
institutes.

The course includes a final test, individual and / or collective, in the form of a concert, for the evaluation of
the training course and the acquisition of the required CFAs.

The requirements for admission to the course are:

  • Bachelor or Certificate of Completion of the European Nyckelharpa Training;
  • Admission exam which can also be carried out electronically.

The course will be held in the Academic Year 2023/24 with a calendar to be agreed.
